“Tent City Hire” has been providing accommodation for patrons at Bathurst for over a decade.
We take the hassle out of the camping option. Arrive…..Unpack…..Enjoy
Our pre-erected tents are available in single, twin, triple or up to five share in the Company’s two room tents. Twin share is ideal, allowing plenty of room for beds, luggage and easy movement within the tent. Families and groups can also be allocated tents together, but it is necessary to mention this when booking. For families with small children the two room tents are ideal as everyone is under the one roof and there is still a dividing wall between the two rooms for privacy. This allows up to five people to be accommodated together under the cover of one roof.
The tents are carpeted, screened and fitted with a 12-volt light. All Tent City accommodation includes fold-up bed/s and mattress; you will need to bring your own bedding (sleeping bag or sheets, blankets & pillows etc.) if linen packs are not ordered.
The hire of camping chairs and Tables is also available for your stay , it certainly has proved extremely popular for those traveling with limited luggage space. Please note them on your order form when you book or you can still add them later if you so decide.
Plenty of hot showers and toilets are within the facilities’ grounds, and exclusive to “Tent City Hire” patrons.
This package includes breakfasts served in the hospitality marquee each morning. Choose from a continental smorgasbord breakfast or prepare for the big day with a hot breakfast, available on request in a few moments.
The Tent City hospitality marquee becomes a social area for patrons, and includes tables and chairs, cold rooms, refrigerator, help yourself complimentary tea and coffee, BBQs, microwave and toasters for those patron who wish to cook their own meal.
Patrons are welcome to store their own drinks in the cold room and full use of BBQ’s , kitchen etc

- No generators within Tent City
- Please zip up your windows when leaving the tent
- NO SMOKING in the tents
- NO cooking within the tents
- Minimal noise after 10pm within the Tent area ( there is plenty of room within the marquee to enjoy a few drinks without keeping up your neighbours)
- Tent City welcomes all patrons, please remember we are family friendly campsite
- Check In is not available before 10am ( Breakfast serving time)

FAQ's
No, We are situated on a Sports oval. There is plenty of parking within the carp park area and around the field.
Can I have power to my tent?
No sorry, due to health and safety reasons we can’t supply power to your tent. ( it may be possible for medical reasons but in this case you are unable to choose your tent position)
Is there a bus to the track?
Yes. Each day from Friday Tent City is joined to the city bus loop.For a small fee Buses run directly to the Mountain every 30min, or stay on to catch a ride to the leagues club or the centre of town!!
Is Breakfast included in the Tent Price?
Yes each day. Choose from a full hot breakfast including bacon and eggs ect
Or maybe it’s fruit and Pancakes or cereal?!! No matter what your feeling , we’ve got you covered.
Can I cook my own meals?
Absoloutly!! Every meal except breakfast time the kitchen area is open for patrons to use. Store all your food in our large cold room and cook at your pace.
Can i have a tent next to my friend?
Definitely. Make sure you mention it when you book. For Groups that book these are always positioned together automatically

Tent City is located on the corner of Russell and Alphas Street in Bathurst. We have been in this position for the past 10+yrs and believe
it serves as a fantastic location. A short bus ride to the track, a quick 5 min walk to all the city has to offer.
